Electromechanical Sensor Integration

Client Need:

The client needed to integrate an accurate rotary sensor within a complex assembly with very limited space and access. Furthermore, the use case involved a very harsh environment, with exposure to heat, water and dirt. Because of the strict space constraints, a custom solution had to be engineered. Furthermore, the schedule was very aggressive.

D&K Solution:

D&K determined an architecture that was feasible and then completed the investigations and detailed design work to enable a prototype to be built.

Results:

The client was pleased with the design and proceeded to fabricate a prototype for testing and evaluation.
