Field Support
Once products are manufactured and shipped to customers from D&K's facility, D&K Engineering Operations continues to support the clients' product in the field. Trained technicians and engineers are made available to support the installation of the product, train clients' field service staff to support the installed equipment and ensure that the product performs as intended.
At D&K Engineering, we track field support issues and correlate these with in-house collected data to track and identify opportunities for serviceability, reliability and functional improvements. Through a process of problem of identification, issues are resolved and overall product performance in the field is improved.
Gathering and analyzing field support data on an ongoing basis and closing the loop on issues with field service personnel creates an invaluable knowledge base of information that is foundational for future designs. |
