  2. What is your minimum size project?

  3. Do you co-develop with clients or engage strictly on a turnkey basis?
Depending on the preference of our clients, in some cases we co-develop products and join/augment our client’s team for specific efforts whereas in other cases D&K is held entirely accountable and responsible for a turnkey development and manufacturing solution.

  4. How do you handle projects in which you are not geographically in close proximity?
D&K Engineering works with partners, vendors and clients on a global basis. Project kickoffs are in-person either at D&K or the client’s facility. Each client project or manufacturing effort is assigned a program manager who serves as a single point of contact for that project. This program manager is responsible for providing regular updates (usually bi-weekly) to the client regarding program status as it pertains to technical status, schedule and budget. These updates usually take the form of on-line meetings or phone conferences, followed by written reports to document status and any decisions made. It is suggested that all major design reviews are conducted face-to-face.

Business Questions:

  1. How does D&K structure its contracts financially?
